Ronald DeGaeta serves as the Chief Financial Officer of PIA Residential with primary responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting of all assets currently under management. Ronald has worked closely with ownership and the management team to successfully transition PIA Residential into a dynamic real estate investment company that leverages technology and business relationships for the purpose of acquiring and maintaining value add real estate assets. Ronald’s expertise in accounting and financial reporting was instrumental in facilitating the successful migration of the accounting software to industry leading Yardi Voyager. Ronald continues to leverage his knowledge and industry experience to improve reporting and compliance to better serve clients, investors and institutions. During his career, Ronald also oversaw the full accounting cycle and financial reporting of two family trusts with combined assets of $64 million consisting of office, retail, apartments and warehouse located across multiple states. Ronald began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as a senior audit associate in the assurance practice of the real estate group out of the Boston, Massachusetts office. Ronald’s audit clients included Berkshire Realty Holdings, LP, New York State Teachers Retirement System, General Investment and Development and Fairmont.
